Porterville Fire Department Honors the Fallen During Bells Across America Each year, the Porterville Fire Department’s Honor Guard proudly participates in Bells Across America for Fallen Firefighters, a nationwide tribute recognizing the courage and sacrifice of fallen firefighters.This year, two members of PFD’s Honor Guard have traveled to Emmitsburg, Maryland, to take part in the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. There, they will join families, survivors, and fellow firefighters
